Revision History
Ver. 1.00.29February 29, 2024
-
- The device now automatically restarts if the wireless LAN connection fails continuously.
- Fixed a problem that could cause the device to stop working when the communication failed because a Repeater lost power during wireless communication.
- Changed the wireless LAN connection timeout from 6 seconds to 15 seconds.
Ver. 1.00.28November 30, 2023
-
- The Wi-Fi driver on the built-in module has been updated to address an issue where the SSID of Wi-Fi 6 compatible wireless LAN access points could not be recognized and connected to.
- Added a function to the update tool to display a message prompting the user to check the settings which may be causing unnecessary data communication.
Ver. 1.00.27August 24, 2023
-
- Fixed a problem that caused communication timeout with T&D Data Server by sending current readings, log data and settings, etc. in succession.
- Fixed a problem that occurred when measuring noise with the RTR505B and opening its recorded data (.xml file) in T&D Graph, where the data type was displayed as "voltage" in Channel Properties.
- In the auto-transmission of recorded data after changing the settings of a Remote Unit, only the new data will now be sent instead of all data (including previously sent data).
- Fixed a problem in which device information was not being registered in T&D Data Server when making a setting change (e.g., registering a Remote Unit) to the RTR500BW at the time of first usage.
- Fixed a problem that occurred when sending Current Readings of RTR-576 to T&D WebStorage Service, where an abnormal value was displayed when the CO2 measurement had a negative value. (e.g. "-6 ppm" displayed as "4294967290 ppm")
- When the setting data is corrupted due to power failure during writing the setting data, the data is now automatically restored from the backed-up data.
Ver. 1.00.26March 10, 2023
-
- Reduced the frequency of transmission of Base Unit log data to reduce the processing load of the WebStorage server. (The minimum number of log data entries to be sent is now 10 instead of 1.)
- The host name sent during DHCP connection is now displayed as "RTR500BW".
- Fixed a problem where DHCP connection failed if there were three or more DNS server addresses included in the DHCP server response.
- Fixed a problem where incorrect measurement data could be included in the automatic transmission recorded data.
- HTTP(S) requests are now accepted even when the header names used in HTTP(S) communication are all in lowercase.
- Removed the dummy Remote Unit information from test data sent to the server in Transmission Test - Test Transmission of Current Readings.
Ver. 1.00.25September 16, 2022

- Fixed an issue that occasionally caused a transmission error when the size of recorded data collected via a Repeater is large.
- Fixed a problem that occurred when communication with the RTR-600 series (including the discontinued RTR-601 series) failed, where Error Code “0004-0004 Wireless Communication Failure (Repeater)” was output even if the repeater was not used.
Ver. 1.00.23April 15, 2022

- Fixed a problem that occurred when the link was down in a wireless LAN environment where there were multiple access points with the same SSID. Autonomous operation occasionally did not resume even after the link up.
- Revised the threshold for generating a battery warning for lithium battery-powered Remote Units. (A warning will now be issued at battery level 3 instead of between 3 and 4).
Ver. 1.00.22January 07, 2022
-
- Fixed a problem where recorded data with a timestamp in the future was uploaded to a server via automatic transmission, when the clock setting of the Remote Unit RTR-601 or RTR-602 was set to a value preceding GMT (e.g. UTC-8:00).
Ver. 1.00.21December 03, 2021
-
- Improved the function to select the AP with the strongest signal if there are multiple APs with the same SSID when connecting to a wireless LAN.
- When connecting to a wireless LAN, channels 12 and 13 are now available for 2.4Ghz band. (EU model only)

- Fixed the following problems that occurred when using Scale Conversion for the RTR505B (with Voltage, 4-20mA or Pulse modules).
(1) The current readings/warning data value became abnormal when a negative value was input in the scale conversion formula.
(2) A warning recovery mail could be sent incorrectly when the measurement exceeded the limit value. - Fixed a problem where connection to the wireless LAN access point failed when the Security Mode was set to No security in the Network Settings.
