Important Note
Please also update your RTR500BC for Windows if it is not the latest version.
Firmware Update Procedure
- Please make the following preparations before update:
・Before connecting a USB cable, make sure that the PC has the USB device driver installed. (By installing the application "RTR500BC for Windows", the USB device driver will also be installed.)
・Exit all T&D applications (such as the Settings Utility) running on your computer.
・Using a USB cable, connect the RTR500BC to the PC in which "RTR500BC Firmware Update Tool" will be executed. - Execute the downloaded "RTR500BC Firmware Update Tool".
- Please follow the instructions on the screen to update the Firmware.
Installation Procedure
- Double-click the update package to extract it to your hard drive.
- Follow instructions in Set up Program.
- Program will automatically be installed on the Hard Disk.

Ver. 1.16 April 5, 2023
- Fixed a problem that occurred when sending settings while using Adjustment Tools for the RTR505B/RTR-505 with no module connected, where an error was not displayed correctly.
- Fixed a problem that caused the RTR500BC battery level to appear as LOW in the Wireless Signal Strength Test even though it was connected to the AC adaptor. This occurred when the RTR500BC was used as a Repeater with multiple Base Units with the same settings information.

- Improved the error judgment accuracy for wireless communication.
- Fixed a problem where the green LED (which indicates wireless communication in progress) did not blink as expected.
