Announcing New Data Logger TR-51i/52i Infrared Communication Type
We are proud to announce the release of our new TR-5i Series: an even more powerful and functional family of Data Loggers in a new refreshing white body color.
The TR-5i lineup includes the TR-51i with internal temperature sensor and the TR-52i with external temperature sensor; you get the same great features of our original TR–5S series data loggers (production discontinued) plus full functioning Infrared Communication.
The loggers in the TR-5i Series are capable of measuring a wide range of temperature: from -60°C to 155°C. And with an estimated battery life of about 4 years (*1), you get long-term continuous measurement without continual battery replacement.
Moreover the Warning Monitoring Function, which notifies you of a warning by flashing the Alarm LED and displaying a warning message on the LCD screen, ensures you will not miss any important warnings.
The newly added Infrared Communication Function can be used with our forthcoming Data Collector TR-57DCi (to be available in late November 2010); it will be possible to download recorded data from any TR-51i / 52i via infrared communication without ever having to physically gather them.Off course, the TR-5i Series is also compatible with our previous infrared communication devices used with the TR-5S Series, such as “Communication Port TR-50U” and “Data Collector TR-57U”.
(*1) Battery life varies depending upon the type of battery, the measuring environment, the frequency of communication, and so on. Also, note that battery life will be shortened by the use of infrared communication.
